Tim Wheat currently serves with the North American Mission Board as the Director of Soul Care and Spiritual Formation of the SEND Network. In his role, he provides soul care and shepherding for church multiplication. Tim is a champion of shepherding pastors and, through his experience, truly understands that ministry takes work and often can take a physical, emotional, and spiritual toll. During our call, Tim shared the importance of taking care of our soul in order to ensure we love Jesus more today than we did yesterday.

We were challenged to ask the question: am I more in love with Jesus within the work on my ministry? That is a tough question, but one that is important for us to meditate on. In addition to sharing some amazing resources for us to dive into, like the Soul Care Personal Assessment, we were encouraged to evaluate our lives and implement the five essentials for soul care.
